The year is 2170. One after another, the human colonies have fallen to the seemingly limitless invasion force of the enigmatic organic ships known as the Wrog. Entire armadas of Earth's fighters have been decimated. Our last hope lies with the Freedom Strike, a massive super-tech battlecarrier fitted with interchangeable turrets and a fleet of specialized drones, built with one purpose - annihilate the Wrog and save our species!
Infinium Strike is an original tactical tower defense game that sees you as the weapons officer aboard the TSF Freedom Strike. Scavenge Infinium – the living metal of the cosmos – from the wreckage of your enemies to create powerful turrets and deadly drones, and turn the tide of the Wrog war. Will the Battlecarrier Freedom Strike survive the relentless waves of Wrog fighters?
Without The Sarcasm (PAX South Best in Show), Ebongo: "Infinium Strike makes blasting crap in space look really, really pretty. Even losing results in some satisfyingly epic explosions. If blowing up the Wrog is wrong, I don't want to be right..."
MMOHuts, Jaime Skelton: "Infinium Strike...is gorgeous, intense, and robust. It plays more like an arcade space shooter than a tower defense game, and requires some quick thinking and planning to master."
Dad's Gaming Addiction, Vincent Paone: "Beautiful and eye-catching...reminds me of Battlestar Galactica a bit." "Beta...but still very fun!"
Gaming Convictions, Ryan Shoptaw: "I had so much fun playing Infinium Strike that I don't think I could go back and play any other tower defense game."
Public Access Gaming, Bill Stiteler: "Infinium Strike is maybe the best looking tower defense game I've seen in some time."
Popzara, Cory Galliher: "A great looking, fun tower defense thriller in space that shows there's life in the genre yet."
Our extermination seems to be their only goal. If the human race is to survive, we must find a way to succeed where other more advanced races have already failed. Unleash the full potential of Freedom Strike by utilizing three state-of-the-art primary weapon systems.
Employ eight types of automatically firing weapons, each with its own advantages and disadvantages for particular classes of enemy ships. Building or upgrading turrets requires Infinium.
The most powerful weapon in a player's arsenal, SuperTech can do everything from increasing resources collected by destroying Wrog to attacking every ship in a quadrant. SuperTech has a 90-second cooldown.
Send a swarm of heavily armed spaceships to attack the Wrog. Deploying battleships requires fleet points, which are accumulated over time.
